In this 10 hour program, we go over insider knowledge behind topics such as how to select which colleges to apply to, the behind the scenes of how certain organizations rank colleges (so you don’t get fooled), the ins and outs of standardized testing, how you should be spending your time in high school, college resume writing, how to get started on your college essays, everything you need to know about ED/EA, how to ask for recommendation letters, financial aid basics, the purpose of demonstrated interest, using common data sets to your advantage, and how to ace your interviews. Any question you have, we have the answer to.
DAY ONE
In day 1 of the bootcamp, which will be two hours long, we will talk about high school preparation, research behind the most desired quality across the top 20 colleges in the U.S., how to select colleges that are best fit for you, and the behind the scenes of how colleges are ranked by different organizations.
DAY TWO
In day 2, which is also two hours long, we will talk about our next set of topics, which are the importance and uses of standardized testing, how to navigate through the financial aid process, how to use the common data set to your advantage, and everything you need to know about early decision and early action.
DAY THREE
In the next two hour long session in day 3, we will go over how to ask for recommendation letters, how to use demonstrated interest to your advantage, how to properly create and use a college resume, and how to write your extracurricular section on the common app.
On day 4, which is two hours long just like the other days, we will go over how to brainstorm your idea for your personal statement, and how to write your supplemental essay questions, as well as the most commonly asked questions and what colleges are looking to find out through those questions.
