Li Zhang holds a doctoral degree in Educational Policy and leadership, specializing in International Education from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She also earned a master’s degree in International Educational Development from Boston University. Dr. Li Zhang is the co-founder of Barrett Academies Ivy League SAT/ACT/PSAT Prep and College Consulting, as well as the head of the China Center for the Cross-Border Education Research Team (C-BERT). In addition, Dr. Zhang holds a leadership position for a number of non-profit organizations, including the President of Chinese Community Center of the Capital Region, the vice Board Chair and Vice President of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association Albany Chapter, and Advisor for Confucius Institute at SUNY Albany. In past years, Dr. Zhang served as the Associate for Academic Programs and Planning at SUNY System Administration, Vice President for JDX Education Consulting Company, Administrator at Kwong Kow Chinese School, and an English teacher at Beijing New Oriental School.
Dr. Zhang's academic research has won numerous awards at various levels at SUNY Albany, including the Arvid J. Burke Scholarship, the Benevolent Association Awards for Graduate Research, and the International Student Leadership Award. Dr. Zhang received a full scholarship from SUNY Albany as well as Scholarships from Boston University.
Dr. Zhang serves as the Founder/CEO/Principal Consultant at ACE LLC. She has previously assisted successful applicants to preeminent institutions of higher learning such as Columbia University, Duke University, Notre Dame University, Georgetown University, New York University, Boston University, University of Toronto (Canada), and King's College (London).
