Grace is an undergraduate student at Princeton University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Grace attended Queens High School for the Sciences at York College, one of New York City’s specialized high schools, and founded the More Medics club, from which every board member since her leave has been admitted into an Ivy League School.
Ever since middle school, Grace has always been excited to participate in class and sought after the feeling of personal growth. Grace believes that growing not only as a student but also as an individual is important in life. Thus, her main goal at Princeton is to enjoy the time she has there, only taking classes she’s interested in and surrounding herself with unique, supportive friends that can push her past her comfort zone. In the same way, Grace hopes to evoke this same mindset in her students as she guides them through test material and college preparation.
One of Grace’s main interests is expanding her Korean skills. Although she is proficient, she remains curious: eager to learn a new word or phrase that can bring her closer to her immigrant parents. Grace is also interested in humans and how the mind and body, together, work to form individual experiences, which is why she is currently exploring psychology. From years studying psychology at Princeton while having tutored kids, Grace is a master at understanding when her students truly understand something or not.
When she’s not doing readings or completing assignments, Grace spends her time exercising, going for long walks in nature, spending time with her family (including her two year old Aussiedoodle), catching up on sleep, exploring NYC, trying new cuisines with her friends, and playing Valorant. In addition, Grace is in love with the craft of music, listening to songs with her headphones on nearly every chance she gets. Aside from her main hobbies, Grace is extremely passionate about reading and writing, and has even published articles in local newspapers and blogs. At the same time, Grace has helped friends and students alike revise their college application essays, allowing them to get into countless top schools.
