Jonathan Zhou

Jonathan Zhou is an undergraduate student at Brown University pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Development. However, Jonathan strongly believes in the importance of maintaining diverse, well-rounded humanitarian perspectives of the world through Arts-related hobbies. As such, at Brown, Jonathan has surrounded himself with courses in various fields such as Mathematics, English, Philosophy, and Economics.

At Brown, Jonathan is an executive board member, developer, and content creator for Brown Esports,  an executive board member for Brown Noodle Society, and occasionally works with the Outreach Committee for the Undergraduate Council of Students. In his free time, Jonathan loves karaoke, playing instruments with friends, philosophical debates, playing video games, and working out.

Jonathan has an extensive background in teaching. He is a founder of the non-profit teaching organization, ALLforKids, in which he has taught hundreds of youth throughout the United States and China subjects ranging from Sciences like Physics and Chemistry to ESL English courses. Jonathan was also a nationally certified recruit instructor for the Young Marines organization and taught over 1,400 Young Marines nationwide through the Online Young Marines Curriculum program. As it pertains to test taking and high school curriculum, Jonathan earned a perfect ACT score of 36 along with an 11 on the ACT essay, and has completed 15 AP courses with straight As and has even received a perfect Computer Science Principles test score, placing him in the top 0.29% of his year internationally.
