With this package, your child will build their college essays step by step, starting with something as simple as an idea and transforming it into a piece of art that will leave admissions officers wanting to read more. In this pack, your child has the option to work on their personal statement or supplemental essays. As a reminder, the personal statement is the 650 word essay that your child submits to all of their schools, while the supplemental essays are the school-specific essays that each college requests in addition to the personal statement. In this process, your child will meet with an experienced tutor and go through the following steps:

1) First, the student and tutor will go over sample college essays that worked and those that didn’t.
2) Second, your child and the tutor will work together to brainstorm potential topics and themes for the essay.
3) Once the topic is picked, the two will work together to make a preliminary draft and get as many ideas down as possible.
4) Next, the student and tutor will edit drafts sequentially until the essay is in great standing.
5) Finally, the essay will be reviewed by the rest of our team to complete the final version that will be submitted to colleges.
